Is considered a subspecies of the Macaroni.
Lives in the subantarctic, for instance Macquarie Island.

Only about 115.000 breeding pairs left and threatened.


The Fiordland Penguin

Lives in New Zealand.
Height 70 cm (28"), weight 3,5 kg.
Breeding season in July - November.
Only about 2.500 breeding pairs left and vulnerable.

Breeding season in September.
